Autism Spectrum Disorder
Having Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or being on the spectrum, provides a unique experience, as the world in some cases is seen differently. There are challenges associated with ASD due to communication, fixations, and emotional dysregulation. This results in family discord, not being able to make or keep friends, or a very black and white view of the world that can cause conflict. Ultimately, without the proper support this can result in anxiety and depression, school refusal, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.

I work to provide psychoeducation to assist parents in better understanding how to communicate, bettering their relationships, and parent their children to become self-sufficient adolescents and adults.
